Set in central Texas, Dead State: Reanimated puts you in a failed society after the collapse of civilisation. You defend your shelter from various threats while making sure you and your allies are fed and equipped to continue fighting. The game is a fun strategy and role playing game but it suffers from repetitive gameplay that leaves players familiar with other zombie survival games wanting for more.
Scavenge, Craft and Survive
With more than 100 unique locations and over 50,000 lines of dialogue, Dead State: Reanimated delivers a lot of character and interesting gameplay. At the same time, you soon get into the routine of scavenging, crafting and surviving while building upgrades and managing conflicts. The game focused on managing your shelter while scavenging for supplies and differs from similar games where more attention is played on combat. Dead State: Reanimated is also distinct in the way it makes players managed individual relationships and interactions with others that share your environment. Each character has a personality, which enhances your gaming experience.
Although an impressive game that delivers on many levels, Dead State: Reanimated is relatively unpolished and prone to glitches. If you are looking for a combat game, you will be left wanting more since the game focuses more on survival. The game’s character is also not enough to make up for the repetition. With many other zombie and survival games to choose from, the game has a tough time keeping players engaged as a result.
